At the invitation of the Very Revd Fr Athanasios Giatsios and Dora and Gia Kelaiditis, Dr Mario Baghos presented insights from his upcoming book, Remnants of New Rome: Reflections on the Sacred Topography of Constantinople (St Andrew’s Orthodox Press, 2021), during his talk for our fellowship entitled ‘A Pilgrimage to Constantinople.’ The talk comprised of an outline of the historical and spiritual importance of the City, and was complemented by photographs of landmarks, churches like Hagia Sophia, and other sites. Indeed, we were offered just a glimpse of the many photos and reflections included in Dr Baghos' upcoming book. The talk was recorded and will be uploaded onto our Youtube page shortly.
