DAILY SERVICES DURING LOCKDOWN AND CURFEW
As a Parish we understand the impact the current lockdown restrictions have had on all of our faithful either be it spiritual, emotional or financial. It hurts us as much as it hurts you to not be able to worship together as a Church, to see our Churches empty during our services.
This however should not impede on our daily prayer life. In reality though the constant pressures imposed by this lockdown and the continuous anxiety caused by media news hysteria have made many of our faithful feel alienated from their source of strength, the Church. This is why we will endeavour to sit down and pray with you (at least through this virtual platform), us from Church and you from home.
For the moment (unless emergency situations arise beyond our control) we will be reading the:
SMALL COMPLINE SERVICE INCLUDING THE SALUTATIONS TO THE THEOTOKOS- in English
(every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5.30 p.m till 6p.m.)
Following the service we will be saying the JESUS PRAYER TOGETHER from 6p.m till 6.15 p.m in order to receive strength, courage and enlightenment from our Lord and Saviour.
Please join us from tonight in praying together during this lockdown period!
