The time has arrived again for our annual St. Catherine's Christmas Toy Visit to the Sydney Children's Hospital. Due to the Covid 19 restrictions in hospitals, things will be a bit different this year. Hospital management has informed us that unfortunately we cannot bring our customary toys to distribute to our children. Rather they have advised us that we can organise vouchers for each child. We agreed to help out, as many charities will not be visiting this year for Christmas.
Therefore, on Sunday the 13th of December our Parish will be holding a special collection at the end of the service. We encourage all to contribute towards this worthy cause!
As well, our Parish will be purchasing toys for the Ronald Macdonald House in Randwick and the Bayside Womens Shelter.
I encourage all to help so that we can spread some Christmas cheer to our children and their families who are in need of some happiness in their lives!
