With the Blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, on Monday the 23rd of January, St Catherine’s Parish had the immense blessing of welcoming His Eminence Metropolitan Myron of New Zealand, and Archimandrite Meletios - Administrator of the Orthodox Mission in Fiji.
Both His Eminence and Father Meletios, spoke of the missionary works being undertaken in Fiji, and in turn answered many questions that people asked regarding this sacred work.
During the evening, we were also blessed to watch the screening of an award winning film “Hello Orthodox”.
Truly, all present were touched with the wisdom and experiences that both speakers shared, and in turn of the amazing and emotional missionary work that is being carried out in the Pacific Islands.
Thank you to all who attended, and a special thank you to their Graces Bishop Iakovos and Bishop Elpidios who also were present.
